Up to 11,000 views. Time for another journal entry. Biggest development for me since last time is getting what I've seen described as an entry level pro printer. It's a Canon Pixma Pro-100 which can print up to 13 x 19 inch photos. Certainly large enough for me and actually large enough to produce gallery size prints, not that I have any thoughts about mounting a gallery exhibition. I've had a great time taking some of my pics and making little note cards and large frameable pieces. I've been cutting my own mats for a while so this kind of adds to the process. The ink seems pretty expensive, but then again that's true for pretty much all printer ink. One of the features I like about this printer is that it allows you to create a proof sheet with different brightness and contrast levels and various color settings. That should cut done on the expense of trying to find just the right profile for a print job. If anyone has any tips on this printer, I'd like to see them.
